Acupuncture Insurance Information

Acupuncture Continuum does take health insurance, below are some commonly asked questions to help you find out if you qualify.

We are now a Triwest VA Community Care Provider! We also accept Workers Comp, United Healthcare, Cigna and Blue Shield. HSA cards also accepted. Please call the office directly to find out your specific benefits. Or can we add it to this area maybe under the area asking to fill out the insurance request form we can say that we are currently in network with:
Blue Shield
Cigna
United Healthcare /Optum
and some plans have out of network benefits.

Does Insurance Cover Acupuncture

Many companies now cover acupuncture. Some cover acupuncture treatments and charge a copay, while others offer a discount program, giving the patient a discounted fee for services.

How do I know if I am covered?

You may ask the Human Resources representative at your place of employment, check your health plan, or feel free to call our office or fill out our “Confidential Insurance Coverage Request” form, and we will gladly check for you. If your employer has opted for acupuncture coverage, then you may be covered.

What Kinds of Insurance Cover Acupuncture?

• Health Insurance: Many health insurance companies now cover acupuncture, depending upon whether an employer has selected a policy which covers acupuncture. Please ask your HR Department, give us a call, or fill out our “Confidential Insurance Coverage Request” form and we can verify your insurance
• Auto Insurance: If you have an auto accident, many auto insurance policies will cover your treatment. Please give us a call and we can find out for you.
• Workers Compensation: Acupuncture can be covered in many Workers’ Comp injury cases
