I came across this article and thought I would share it with you.  It raises the question of how damaging the common items around our house can be.  What strikes me is that science is finding more and more evidence daily to suggest that the chemicals in our common household products are damaging but the large Mega Corporations that produce these items do not seem to think there is a link.  For example,  when it comes to getting an item approved by the government for sale in the United States,  a company will do the required testing and show that their product is “safe”.  This occurs despite the fact that there may be evidence that many harmful side effects are noticed when the product comes into contact with the person using them.  We have a poison control center for that specific reason.  It’s not ok to injest these items but it’s ok to breathe them, apply them to surfaces that we touch and so on…..

There are many products out there that are derived from a plant base,  are earth friendly (who knows where the other products end up?), and can ease your mind about using them around your house.  Espically when you have kids or are trying to get pregnant.
